Founded in 1820, an elegant bar called Bottiglieria de Leone was opened in Milan and quickly became the meeting place for the Milanese upper class serving wine, distillates and liqueurs. In 1885 the bar was handed over to Annunciata Bourne from Oleggio, known for being a successful entrepreneur she wanted to create a feminine, fragranced and lighter aperitif. This resulted in the creation of GINROSA BITTER, softer in colour and delicate in flavour, setting itself apart from other local bitters.

A vibrant cherry-red hue and bitter grapefruit aroma. The syrupy palate is similarly bitter at first, showing grapefruit peel and orange pith, and finishes mildly sweet and spiced with hints of clove, cinnamon bark and dried cherry. Mix into Negronis and Boulevardiers
