Artisan hand-crafted, stone-crushed tequila produced by Guillermo Erickson Sauza, a fifth-generation family member. Guillermo uses 100% stone-milled agave, entirely produced on the estate which lies right in the middle of the town of Tequila.

Aged for 1 ½ years, Fortaleza Añejo is a mid to rich gold colour. The nose is of caramel, cinnamon, honey and nutmeg. Again the signature mouthfeel of the other Fortaleza tequilas is found here. Tastes range from soft agave honey to newly turned soil with wood sugars and spice throughout. The finish is of bracing minerals and hints of baked agave.
