Fuji Single Blend Masterpiece Whisky 700ml 50%

Positioned at the base of Mount Fuji, Fuji Gotemba is the only distillery in the world with the ability to distil malt whisky and 3 types of grain whisky under the one roof. This allowed Master Blender, Jota Tanaka to challenge what people have come to know and expect from Japanese whisky and lead to the creation of a whole new category - Single Blended Whisky.  The extremely limited 2022 Masterpiece is the first ever whisky to be created and released in this style.
 
In addition to a base of malt and grain whisky aged in ex Four Roses Barrels, this blend also includes what Fuji call 'challenge whisky.'  these are whiskies that have been aged in experimental casks for longer than normal periods of time including ex IPA beer casks from local Gotemba distillery and ex Spanish red wine casks.
 
The age range of the whisky in this blend starts at 15 years old up to 30 years old.
